Roman gilt-bronze ring

An attractive Roman period gilt-bronze ring circa 300AD, the front engraved with a man on a horse, holding a sword or unusually well-endowed. The front of the ring retains most of its gilding; the shank of a typically Roman shape with extended shoulders, less so. The head is approximately 3/4 inch: 19mm across and the finger size UK M: US 6 Unusual to be able to buy Roman rings in such good condition and with such interesting subjects at a reasonable price.
