Description
Fioret was a Parisian perfume house active from 1914 when they produced their first perfume ‘Chypre’ From 1919, after the war, they produced another 28 perfumes, ceasing in 1925 with ‘Jasmin’ and ‘Beaujolais’. Lalique from 1919 made perfume bottles for Fioret, and also produced this pendant for them, in frosted glass showing a naked dancing Bacchante and tree, mounted on a silk cord with a fluted glass bead above, and a tassel below. The pendant is triangular approximately 3 3/8 inches:37 mm, and the black cord is long enough for the pendant to hang around navel level-it can of course be shortened.
