Victorian pill box or vesta case

A very plain late Victorian 15ct pill box, originally for vesta matches, of polished rose gold, made in Birmingham in 1901 with an unidentified maker's mark H&A perfect for the pills that so many of us need to take. The suspension ring means it was probably meant to go on a watch chain. It is approximately 2 1/8 x 1 5/8 x 1/2 inch: 55 x 42 x 13 mm and weighs 47.3 grams.
