1970s bracelet in a design of interwoven festoons of diamond-set laurel leaves and bright blue sapphires. This is a very traditional traditional design, dating back at least to the 18th century, if not to the classical garlands worn by Roman emperors. The catch is cunningly concealed in the pattern. The bracelet is very well made, tested as 18ct, and bearing only a Dutch import mark. It is set with approximately 2 carats of diamonds and 7 carats of sapphires, and has a total weight of 53 grams - just over 1 1/2 ounces. The length is 7 1/4 inches: 18 cms so should fit most people. I bought it reasonably, and it is priced very reasonably considering its gold weight and gem content - and it's pretty, too.
