Well, I've never seen another one like it - an articulated Boy Scout charm in 9ct gold - which must date from the days of Baden Powell whose 'Scouting for Boys' published in six instalments in 1908 was the begining of the movement. Baden Powel was honoured as Chief Scout in 1920, created a Baronet in 1921, and a Baron in 1929, dying in 1941. Next to the Bible, Scouting for Boys must come close for copies printed - 150 million so far. I should think this charm was made around 1920, when the movement had achieved mass recognition. It is approximately 3/4 inch: 20 mm in height
